New pages? Canon ending? Nope, I see NOTHING. I refuse to look. It was added like a half-assed afterthought anyway. I haven’t read it or looked at it myself, but I’ve seen enough on my dash that I don’t really care to.

In all honesty, the entire summary and ending of BNHA is a huge disappointment. I’m not saying there shouldn’t have been consequences for the villains’ actions, they literally killed people. But the fact that they ALL died? That none of them were “redeemable”? And all of the bnha youth having visions and goals of saving their respective villains only to fail in the end?

Like, they’re going for a “well the villains were finally understood and seen in their last moments… so it’s good enough. They still gotta die though.” As if villains aren’t redeemed all the time in fiction. Give me a break.

So I say no. Nope, nope, I’m ignoring whatever bs “canon” they gave us and making up my own ending. Touya lives. He gets fucking therapy because he’s finally in a place where he’s willing to receive help and take responsibility for himself. Getting emotional for a second here but the relationship between Alastor and Jackie if fully realizes makes me feel SO MANY THINGS LIKE

~You have the big, scary demon overlord that needs to be seen as that and only that at all times forever to keep himself safe from others and his own ego death. Someone that is super picky about people he'll get close to and even then refuses to let his emotional walls down with 3/4ths of the time! He needs to be powerful, he needs to perform that way at all times. He needs people to take him like that and will socially and emotionally starve himself to do so

~And then you have the small, often perceived as naive and helpless little rabbit with total emotionally vulnerability, a bleeding heart to others with steadfast loyalty who is more than happy to cast themselves under the tracks if it means helping others. And like, they are so different and they view things so differently but he cares about him SO much. He's always worried over him because they used to be in a place where they cut off all connections, kept people at arm's lengths, broke down silently by themselves like, looking at Alastor they see a person they have been

~And because of that they will never truly stop worrying or caring about him? They just can't? They can't stop themselves from helping anyone that has hurt the way he has.
